what happened-you were on such an upturn-what happened to that awesome pastry chef-i loved her desserts-ordered cakes from her over 4 times. what a loss! came in for brunch eggs were cold-why?????

Wow-what a full pastry case-we never knew!<br />
We had lunch and then took some pastries home.<br />
Loved the house soup, nice on these chilly april days we have been having! Had the turkey burger and my friend had a roast beef sandwich special.<br />
We were very happy w/ everything especially our desserts we took to go and enjoyed the stawberry white chocolate cheesecake. and a pecan chocolate tart after our dinner that evening! can't wait to try brunch. They need take out menus!

Great location to take a break from the hustle and bustle of West Hartford! The cinnamon scones and the ricotta cookies are what dreams are made of. I am a tea drinker and they have quality teas and a large enough selection that everyone will find something they like. The staff is happy and friendly and I recommend Front Street Sweets to everyone I know. Go, you won't be disappointed!

This place looks pretty...it looks the part of a nice bistro. I remember when Front Street was just a small bakery. Too bad whomever owns it spent all their expansion money on aesthetics rather than improving upon their menu and waitstaff. The service AND food have all gone downhill, almost irreparably. Don't get me wrong, the waitstaff were fast. They quickly brought me my overpriced, mediocre-at-best meal, and then promptly rushed me out of the door. I won't go back. This may be the worst restaurant in West Hartford. They should have just stuck to "Sweets". I take that back...they should call themselves the "Cinnamon Scone"...because that is the ONLY item in the place with any kind of redeemable quality.

Food was terrible, will never go back. Service mediocre. One of the worst places in the Center. Went next door and had a great meal the following week at Mediza.

This place looks the part of a nice bisto, and the staff were helpful and quick. But, the food was awful (even the birds wouldn't eat my cupcake) and the prices were offensive. Avoid.
