It is the second time I come and the waitress (older lady with light eyes) is rude and rasista.
They charge 20% for a horrible service, the other waiters are very friendly

Thought we would give this place a try mostly since we wanted some seafood. Big mistake. Should have keep driving up into Beaufort. Took forever to get seated and then sat outside. Then took forever to get our food. By the time we got our food myself, wife and son had been eating up by bugs from seating outside we couldn't even try to enjoy the meal. The food was cold and had to get a box because we couldn't deal with the bugs anymore. The people beside of us got there about the same time we did and took them forever to get there food as well. They was complaining about it. The waitress came out and told them there food was all taken care of and I know good in well there meal would have been about $300.00 or more with the food and alcohol that was ordered. Ours was alittle over $100.00 and got nothing but bug bites all over us and cold food that we had to box up as soon as we got it. Once we got in the car, my wife called to speak with the manager and was told he didn't have time to talk to us and would give us a call back. He never called back. We waited to see if he would give us a call back the next day but nothing. We called on Wednesday (went on Monday night) only to be told there may not be much they can do because it was in the past but someone would call us. Guess what still nothing. I would not recommend this place due to poor management and no care for people visiting the area at all. Drive on up to Beaufort.

They turned a service animal away and asked for an ID card. No such thing for a service animal.

This restaurant charged extra money (97.00)to my daughters account and will not refund it. Manager was rude and walked away after our 3rd visit to try and get her card credited.

Just ate there tonight. We had dozen steamed oysters, a bit small but good. Then we had garlic shrimp, crab cake with lobster sauce and finished with she crab soup. all delicious.

Ordered takeout. Not very friendly. They forgot to put our dessert (key lime pie) in the order. I called to tell them and they didn’t even apologize. Had to drive all the way back to get it. Wasn’t even that good...not worth the time, effort, or money. That being said, the fried fish was pretty good...so 2 stars.

We usually love going here on our vacations but this year we were very disappointed. Our server was TERRIBLE! We never received the corn bread (my moms favorite part) and he forgot my dad’s drink as well as a younger girl at the table for a while. He also had to come back for eh table three times before we received a to go box. Not to mention he refilled tea into my mom’s Pepsi glass because he simply wasn’t paying attention. He proceeded to add 20% gratuity to the check and my dad stated he didn’t think the service was worth that much and the manager tells him “so you expect him to work his -ss off for nothing” when clearly he wasn’t working too hard. Extremely poor service and management, I myself have waitressed and it was pretty pitiful. There was also a stray cat and a raccoon walking around right by the outdoor dining 🤢 also just check out how the manager responds to bad reviews on their Facebook page. Extremely unprofessional and sad.

What's not to love? Great service, terrific food, and lots of fun. The seafood just doesn't get any fresher. They always have great drink specials (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), their side items includes delicious stone ground grits which taste so good I would get them with a steak! I have a relative on Fripp Island and this is one place I never miss when I visit. The only negative thing is that they put sugar in their cornbread, which this southern belle doesn't care for (sugar is only for corn MUFFINS not cornbread!). you have to try the scallops and the oysters and they will do them any way you want--broiled or fried.

The shrimp and grits at J.Creek is amazing! As well as pretty much everything else I've tried.
