The service was No Good the food was ok but don't bother with the yuca fries, I've had better... alot better and the Iced Tea tasted like something you should be soaking your feet in. And although I complained to the waiter and NEVER drank my yucky iced tea, he never once bothered exchanging it for something else OR even offer to bring me a glass of water to our table :( Go and just have soup, it's pretty good, if it they serve it to you hot!

I've read so much on Maricel Presilla over the years and yet never visited her restaurants. In addition to the food being quite delicious at Zafra, I enjoyed the diversity which includes South American dishes- not just Cuban (which are very authentic). The menu showcases her depth of knowledge in all Latin cuisines. We tasted the empanadas- fresh, the arepas where outstanding as was the "Venezuelan breakfast" which consisted of shredded beef, white rice, black beans and 2 arepas. I will certainly return and visit Cucharamama also.

Food is excellent. Service is rude and unfriendly. Value is good. Atmosphere is too rushed. We went frequently but don't think we'll be back. It's lost its "flaire". I will miss the food though but it isn't worth putting up with rude workers.

I love this place, but it won't get a perfect score. The food is REALLY GOOD... and they even have vegetarian food (cuban??)
But they're right outside this annoying loud hospital. Inside the restaurant, they play loud annoying music, and the service is a little slow.

Food great , but they really rush you out of the table, i go because of the food but the SERVICE not good.

The food is great. I always have to have the yuca fries, croquettas, empanadas and then we split either the steak sandwich or the chicken sandwich. They are equally good. Also you should have the limonada, it's excellent. I can't wait to go back. It's my favorite place.
