Fresh sushi, great loungy atmosphere. Love that its only a few blocks from my apartment! Always a treat to go there...

My husband ordered sushi wrapped in eel or tuna and the food came out with a touch of that.
We ordered tea and we got the tea pot without cups
service was very slow and they had 2 kids behind the counter preparing our food.
I will not go there again.

Recently tried the downtown location. Awesome food and great service. Definitely will be going back. Uptown on the other hand was awful. Sushi had too much rice, service was terrible. Much better in the downtown location.

I've only ordered from here but the food is consistently excellent. Very happy with the quality which is sometimes hard to find around here.

While dining in at the new Sushi House Uptown is always a pleasurable experience, ordering take out is a disaster that shows how truly little Sushi House values their customers. I live literally 3 blocks away from the Uptown location and my roomate and I order sushi at least three times a week. We both work in the restaurant industry and are appaled at the customer serivce at Sushi House Uptown. We have never had a good experience with take out. Our food is quite often late and items that we ordered are often forgotten. One particular incident was so bad, that I called back to speak to the manager and the woman who answered the phone refused to allow me to speak to the manager and denied that he was working that evening. She also refused to give me her name. I called Sushi House downtown and the manager there told me that the owner was working at Sushi House Uptown that evening and immediately called him. When the owner called me back, I explained that I was a loyal customer who orders on a regular basis and was not as upset that my order was delivered incomplete, but that the woman who took the order and answered my return call was so horribly rude and unhelpful and lied. The owner also cared little about my concerns, but did deliver the missing food. I was extemely dissppointed by his lack of concern and customer service. I had continued to order at Sushi House in hopes that things would get better the longer the new location was open. It was still be a poor experience with rude and apatheic service and I have since switched to Tokagawa which is the complete opposite. Their customer service is as fresh and satisfying as their food.

this is the best sushi around!!! i recently tried their uptown spot,
the food is excellent,the drinks were awesome too.
try one of their signature rolls & a mojito from the bar, they're fab!
