not sure what it is.. I used to frequent this place a lot for lunch ($12) - Amiya has (or had) one of the best chicken tandori (buffe or non-buffe) in tri-state region. Everything used to be so refresh - until the recession hit late last year. I tried it twice it last week - everything now looks like they just came fresh out of microwave. Veggies look like they have been sitting in freezer for weeks; chicken tandori was actually *cold* when I arrived there at 12:00 PM - perhaps it was *summer special*? I just don't get it - how could it go so wrong so fast?

My favorite... in my opinion, way better than the overrated restaurants on India row.
