how to use MenuPix.com

We've created many cool ways to can find a restaurant on MenuPix.com. You can search by keyword or browse through restaurant listings just by following links from the homepage.

The quickest way to get started is to use the search box. You can use the search function to find a specific restaurant, or search for keywords to find a larger group of restaurants.

Search Examples:
Search for a restaurant by name, i.e. "Village Park Cafe" or "Village Park"
Search by zip code, i.e. "01234" or "0123"
Search for a street name, i.e. "Main St" or "840 Main St"
Search for a cuisine, i.e. "Chinese", "Sushi", "Pizza", "Seafood", etc.
Search by neighborhood - "Lower East Side", "Back Bay", "Downtown", "Chinatown", "Hollywood", etc.
Tip: Search for all or part of the name. For example, if "Kung Pao Bistro" yields no results, try just searching for "Kung Pao." The restaurant is called "Kung Pao China Bistro."
Tip: To see what neighborhoods and cuisines are represented in your city, just visit the homepage. All the neighborhoods and cuisines are listed - the number next to the listing represents the total number of restaurants.

Another way to find restaurants is to use our built in browse and drill down functions. It's easy. Start off at the homepage of any city and there you'll find listings of neighborhoods, cuisines, as well as a map. Click on any to get started:

Neighborhood - Click a neighborhood to see all restaurants in that neighborhood. On the resulting page you can further drill down your neighborhood search to find a specific cuisine in that neighborhood.
Area - Select an area on the map located on the right side of the homepage. This link will display all restaurants within that area. In most cases, an area represents a larger group of restaurants than a neighborhood. These results can also narrowed further by cuisine once you have made your selection.
Cuisine - From the homepage, select a cuisine. The number next to the cuisine name lets you know how many restaurants will show up in the search results. These results can be further narrowed by neighborhood or area once you have made your selection.
Alphabetically - On the bottom of any city page, you'll find a browse link. You can follow this link to peruse MenuPix listings alphabetically.

We've come up with a couple of other browse features as well:

Browse Top Restaurants - Top restaurants are listed on every MenuPix city homepage. Some cities include a more detailed list of top restaurants, grouped by neighborhood. These restaurants are typically the highest rated restaurants based on users reviews. Some homepages include some of our favorite places too.

Special Search - We've created some special searches for our users, examples include "Open 24 hours" and "Late Night."

Right Now Search - The right now search bar is located just below the tabs, on every city page on MenuPix.com. There you can select several options from the drill down boxes and generate search results. Just pick any cuisine, any neighborhood, and delivery options and get a quick list of restaurants in a snap.

Some additional frequently asked questons:

Is there a fee to use MenuPix.com?
No. MenuPix.com is free for users (and for restaurants too!)

Do I have to register to use MenuPix.com?

Why can't I find a restaurant I know exists?
You may have a slightly different spelling than we do. Try using less words or part of a work to generate more search results. If that doesn't work, we may not have the restaurant in our database. If we do not, pleae let us know via email (support@menupix.com) and we will add it to our records.

Why does the menu not display on my computer?
The menu is displayed in a new window, which may confuse your popup blocker into thinking the menu is a popup advertisement. Make sure to allow popups from MenuPix.com and you should have no problems seeing the menus. Contact Us if you have further questions.

What if a restaurant's menu or other information is incorrect?
We make every effort to keep our information current. If you find any inaccurate information, please email us the correction and we will change it immediately.
