I have never been treated so rudely anywhere but in po-dunk Grangeville Idaho at a little cafe called the Hilltop. My party of 10 was planning on lunching at the Hilltop came in and moved a table to accommodate the group and were promptly yelled at for moving the table. I believe that the person yelling at us was the owner. The verbal lashing we received was anything but welcoming, we were told that we had shown disrespect to her by moving this table, so we decided to go elsewhere. We were then yelled at some more. By then I was seeing Red. How dare this woman treat me and my family and friends this way, for just moving a table. As I walked out of this Palace of Rude service I slammed the door. I was walking to the car and I heard her yell out the door " I'll show you how to slam a door" and she then slammed the door. I suspect that she must only serve locals. I can't comment on the food at the Hilltop because we didn't even really get waited on, just yelled at.
When you are in Grangeville Idaho, don't waste your time with the Hilltop go to Oscar's or even the Camas Bowling alley - at least you will be treated nicely at those places.
