We went up to Idaho from Texas for a family wedding and made a trip up to Idaho City to see a real ghost/mining town. We stopped at Trudy's for dinner because it looked like a cute little diner, and I was pleasantly surprised just how awesome it was! The food was reasonably priced (our party of 8 ate - salads, dinner, and dessert - for $124, which included a 25% tip). I had the best non-prime steakhouse sirloin ever (better than any chain restaurant) and it was cooked exactly the way I requested. I cannot even begin to describe the desserts! Absolutely unbelievable! Huge pies and fabulous choices!!! It's a must stop for anyone traveling near Boise, Idaho!
