Top Reviews of Taco Bell

I went to the taco bell in canton, il to pick up dinner for my son and me. I ordered three hard tacos with no lettuce, three regular soft shell tacos, and a been burrito with no sauce and no onion. I paid $10.80 for this purchase. I pull my first taco out. I had to pick visible lettuce off of my taco and tried to eat it. The taste of the lettuce was still there. I took two bites and both times it came right back up. I turn around and go back to taco bell, and I wait in line again. At the speaker, I calmy explained that my tacos had lettuce on them, and the burrito too. They remade that part of the order. While I was waiting, the girl at the drive-thru window was apologizing profusely. I said, "it's ok, I know that sometimes other food pieces make it into the cheese by accident. After all, I used to work at a taco bell. I pull out of the drive-thru again. I open a taco and there is, extremely apparent, that I had more lettuce on this taco than the last one. I figured third time is a charm. I pull up to the speaker and said, "There is still lettuce on my tacos." She responded with, "I'm sorry I didn't understand that, but go ahead with your order whenever you're ready. I stick my head out the window of my car and spoke more clearly. "There is still lettuce on my tacos. She responds with, "I'm sorry, could you please pull up to the window." As I pull up to the window, the manager was there. I showed her the taco, and she said, "oh, yeah, I see the couple pieces of lettuce," like I was a baby who couldn't pick the nasty lettuce out of my taco. She explained that sometimes lettuce and other food make their way into the cheese. I told her that I had just talked to the other lady about that. Then I asked if she was going to replace the food. She basically told me that she wouldn't remake my order. I say that I want a refund. She told me, "No, I will not give you a refund. You cussed at my employee and made her cry." At this point, I am starting to get angry. I said, "What, all I said was 'There is still lettuce on my tacos.'" She asked me for all the food back and proceeded to give me a refund. As she steps up to the register I tell her that I just handed back three soft tacos with that, She says that is what she is refunding me. I start to pull out, and I notice that she only gave me $6 and some change. I pull into the parking lot, and went in to show her my original ticket. Now she says that I never told her about the soft tacos. I am shaking because I do not usually confront anyone. I am scared of confrontation. I said, "Yes I did at the window." I am getting irritated because she is arguing with me. Because I did not know what to do, I told her I was calling the police because she stole my money and would not give it back. She laughs at me and tells me I am not allowed back in that taco bell. Then, I cussed as I was picking my things up. Although it was not directed at anyone, I looked up and said, "now I'm cussing," and I left. I called the police and they told me to get ahold of the corporate office to lodge a complaint. So I called taco bell corporate and waited on the line until I was almost home 20 mins. from the taco bell. The lady takes my story, and then asks for my address so she can send me coupons for the amount that was not refunded. I told her I am not allowed back in that taco bell and the next one is more than 50 miles from where I live. So...she told me that the district manager was going to get ahold of me to figure out what they can do to make it up to me. That was yesterday afternoon, and I still haven't heard from anyone. Even if I was kicked out, I wasn't going back to that taco bell. I will eat else where and so will my big family and my friends.
