Although we have been spending quite a bit of time at Timber Lake Lodge in Mt. Carroll the past several years; we stopped in for dinner at Brothers for the first time on Friday, June 22....we will definitely be stopping in again. I have never had walleye as fresh as what I ordered on Friday! The salad bar was unbelievable....fresh. crisp lettuce, perfect kidney bean salad...it was not floating in mayo, and the potato salad was very close what "Mom use to make." My husband raved about the broasted chicken.....we have voted that this will be our regular place to eat when we go out to Timber Lake. The restaurant is super clean, cheery and the staff was unbelievable. The place was full and we never had to wait for anything.

Wonderful food and great staff! We used to stay in the area for a couple years but the past year we will sometimes drive about 65 miles just to go for our favorite choice of food. It has a nice homey atmosphere!
