Fried chicken is delicious!! So is the tortellini... we get it in broth, but the red sauce is fabulous as well! Love this place!!!

The best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted!

The best fried chicken I’ve ever tasted! A bargain and the food and service are GREAT!

I love your food. BUT you need to update meal prices online. 1/4 lt listed $7.50, paid $10.50. Family style listed $11.50, paid $16.50. Then $1.50 carry out charge then tax. $9 difference. Also menu says all meals include bread. Doesn’t say you’re charged for it on carry outs. We love your food but won’t get carry outs again.

I have been coming to this supper club for about 50 years. I was deeply saddened by the closing 2016. I was elated with their reopening in 2020. At that time I was concerned that the food would “change”. I was again ecstatic that the food was still “signature” of the Garzanelli’s I had enjoyed for decades. I especially enjoy their “pizza pie”. These have been uniquely exquisite for half a century, something I can never pass up every time I have ever eaten there and I always take home several “raw”. Since I don’t live close, these uncooked pies can be frozen and enjoyed at my convenience. Well I don’t know what has happened in the last several months. All I can say of the pizzas, they have changed ingredients and at best they are terrible! I tried twice to give them the “ benefit of the doubt”. I even let another Garzanelli Supper Club patron try it and the best description I could find is, “It Sucked”. I hope this is a “glitch” and will give them one more try in the next month or so. But it could be the last… Brings great sorrow to think a few little changes or shortcuts could destroy such a great legacy.

Wonderful experience every time. Never disappointed. The food is always to perfection. The staff are so friendly
Welcoming. One of my favorite things to do after dinner is to seat in the beautiful bar and enjoy an after dinner drink from their Martini menu!!
Come visit Garzanellis you won’t regret it!!

I love the fried chicken! I love the homemade French dressing. I love the cottage cheese!
I tried the fettuccine last time and it didn’t taste homemade. I would have let it go but no one even asked if everything was okay. As a prior server, you always ask how was your meal and on occasions some won’t want to discuss but if there plate is as full as it was when you brought it out- then there is a problem!
Thanks for listening.

The first time we went to Garzanelli’s since it reopened was awesome. We wanted to take our friends from Wilmington there last night. It was awful...the bread was burnt, way too much dressing on the salads, spaghetti was cold, the ravioli was not up to par, the American fries were burnt and we didn’t like they combined the spaghetti and ravioli. We will never go back. I feel Garzanelli’s needs to know they have a huge problem. If it continues their business will go down fast. We didn’t even have our normal ice cream drinks. We couldn’t get out of their fast enough. On a good note the waitress was awesome.

I have been going there for 50 years. We took our son and his family to dinner tonight- 8/20/20. Food and service was excellent. We were very pleased. Wishing them continued success as tonight it was extremely busy. I was so happy.

Been coming for years but they have got too greedy. City high prices and cut back on there portions. Food was so salty and terrible service. Took us forever to get our food but waitress only brought out our sides and had to wait so long for our chicken. Smaller portions than we ever saw. Never will be back. Not worth the money and waitress couldn't have been more ruder. Don't waste your money because sure not worth it

I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli in parmesan sauce. It came with a side of salad with home style garlic, vinegar and oil dressing and some buttered bread.

The food itself was very good, though I suspect it is not freshly made, most likely frozen as we could not change the stuffing inside the ravioli. I normally don't eat salads and don't like dressings but gave it a try and it has a spicy garlic taste, most likely cause it is partially raw and gives it a kick flavor. I am a person who enjoys this type of thing from garlic. The parmesan sauce was very good. I make alfredo sauce from scratch at home and thought theirs was very nicely put together. I did add some parmesan to it, but they probably make it a bit more bland for those who may not love cheese the way I do. The bread was very good and I dipped it in the dressing which was even better.

The price seemed a bit high for what was on my plate, but I was surprised how stuffed I felt after about 5 raviolis and even took home leftovers, which would make it about $6.50 a serving instead of $13 for one serving. For the 5 of us it came to like $95 which equals $19 a person. We did order 1 appetizer and drinks, but I'm not used to seeing a bill like that and that's probably the one thing that would turn me off from going more often.

The service was okay overall, the staff seemed a bit quiet (where I work we all greet the customers so that is what I'm used to). The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed when we all arrived, but she was nice and was relatively more attentive and aware than at other places. She wasn't annoying, but asked how things were going and could tell when we needed refills and asked if there was anything else we needed and answered any questions we had. Any time I needed something, it wasn't long before she came to check on us. Some other places it's like you wait for 20 minutes for someone to come over so you can ask them, so she was definitely making her rounds and doing a lot of back and forth walking and making sure everyone was filled up on drinks and food, so that's something I really noticed from her, putting effort into her job. I wish I remembered her name, though.

Overall I would love to eat there again when I can afford to. Would love to see some fresh foods introduced into the menu, something a bit more creative. Perhaps a three cheese bruschetta sort of thing. The interior decorating is very comfortable as well, not too much. I enjoyed my experience there, and this is coming from someone who normally gets anxious in public places.

My husband ordered walleye, and it was bad, either refrozen, old, or freeze burnt. It cost $17.95. and he didn't conplain, just didn't eat it, when we left he said, it was terrible. We had eaten there before, and it was good. But this time it wasn't. I ordered chicken, and it was okay. Kind of bland tasting, but okay. Not in a hurry to go back. It was my birthday present to go out to eat.

Love, love this restaurant! Great family style with the best fried chicken and do not miss out on the garlic salad. When we're in the area it's a must!!!
Keep doing what your doing! Can't wait to come back!

Previous reviewer doesn't get the idea of "family style". The dishes are communal, just like if you apportioned it at home for the family.

Anyway, great meat sauce, good tortellini, and the best fried chicken in the area. Juicy without being greasy.

Make sure you get the garlic dressing on your salad, unless you're feeling really adventurous. Then you may want to try the double-garlic dressing.

Lastly, make sure to save room for a Brandy Alexander or a Grasshopper after dinner. These are the best ever.

We went here with a group of people after seeing comminity theater in the area. Three of the people in our group ordered family style from the menu, each person was to receive an order of ravioli, spaghetti, salad, chicken, and potato. We did not receive an order of the above for each person, instead they gave us 1 bowl of each to share. When we complained to the manager(who also happened to be the owner), he just shrugged his shoulders and said that was how they did it and walked away. We had 25 people at that table and although some of them have been going there for 30 years vowed they would never return. Very, very poor customer service and the food was just so-so. What a shame, lost many customers over a couple bowls of ravioli.
