I just stopped at Mac's barbecue for supper. It was absolutely wonderful. I felt like I was back home in my grandmother's kitchen. The barbecue was fantastic, the conversation with Mr. Mac was great especially the color commentary on the Judge Judy show that we were watching. The portions were very generous, the prices were very reasonable and you can't forget to take home a piece of pie from one of the many homemade pies sitting on the display table. Mac's barbecue is approximately six minutes south of interstate 40. It is very well worth the drive to go there. Don't get it to go. Eat it in the store you'll be glad you did!
