My husband and I just went here for lunch(Cucina Giovanni).
We can't even describe how bad this experience was from the beginning.
Inexperienced server, which is fine and understandable, until... We asked about a few wines they had, she didn't know much, again understandable, we asked to taste one Merlot on the menu before we ordered a bottle.
It was like vinegar, opened to long.
So we decided that we'd get a Cosmo instead as we were afraid all the wine would be this way and didn't want to have her bringing it back.
The Cosmo was like cranberry juice with barely a splash of vodka, 10.00 each, but that's not an issue, we just thought maybe she was inexperienced of making cocktails.
Then we get our salad, I said I'll take the side salad on your lunch menu, since I just wanted it for a side, she says they won't honor the price of that salad since I ordered off the dinner menu, it was lunch time mind you and I paid dinner prices.
So I said that's fine.
The salad comes and it's chopped like you'd put on tacos with brown pieces in it. Just awful.
We had already put our food order in and now were worried about what the foods going to be like if they're skimping and with poor quality salad and drinks.
I ordered a Philly cheese steak sub, extremely disgusting, I couldn't even eat too the third bite, I was so hungry, the only reason I even got that far.
My husband orders the lunch special of 1 slice which comes with 1/2 sub, he asked for Italian and asked her if they put it in the pizza oven as that's how'd he'd like it, she said yes of course we will.
So she comes back before the food comes out and asks about the drinks and salad, so we told her they were both bad and we were extremely disappointed.
She said why what's wrong with the salad, with a disgusted tone. So we told her. Told her about the drinks as well.
My husband ordered a mountain dew as it came with the lunch special, it was not mountain dew and we still don't know what it was. She argued that as well, like we've never had a mountain dew before🤦🏼♀️
I said to her , please go get yourself a glass and try for yourself.
She still argued and walked away. We were not mean at all, just answering what she asked with our honest opinion.
Now we're laughing in disgust and disbelief because we can't believe we have to sit there and have no idea what our food will be like.
Honestly we should have cancelled the food completely.. My "Philly cheese steak"comes out and it's a bun full of cheap greasy shaved steak, I seen one tiny piece of pepper and a glob of American cheese placed on top not even melted.
My husband never got his slice, she said they didn't have a single slice anymore so made him a small personal pizza which was some round dough with red can sauce on top, his Italian sub was never put in an oven but on the grill and was just awful.
Note: we are seeing a guy in the back making boxes and boxes of pizzas 😅 they just didn't want to make a whole pizza to give him a slice, well then take it off the menu .. they didn't even ask him if that's what he wanted, they took it upon themselves.
We decided after a couple of bites, we were done and irritated at the ordasity to serve such disgusting food.
The server came over and asked the issue and we told her we are not eating this and how bad it was, she said, do you want something else? Ummm no.. 😅
There were only 3 couples there so not at all busy. She went in the back and he never came out to ask anything or explain it or take it off the bill.
So 50.00 later and we left disappointed, starving, pissed at this owner to do this to people that work hard for their money and wasted our time when we could have been eating in a good establishment.
So to any restaurant owners reading this, please don't try to fool people with sub par product or watered down drinks because that's what will ruin your business. You'll get a bigger return on quality.
I know as a local and a foodie, I will certainly start giving reviews like this going forward if this is what we're served.
This business should close it's doors. That bad..

We ordered a pizza and it was probably one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. Everything was fresh. Called our order in and it was ready in under the time they said and piping hot! Highly recommend!
