I found them online to order in and loved the food. Went down to finally see the place and have brunch, amazing!!!! They do $4 Bloody Mary's and Mimosas. The food is really good and it was packed. A gem in Jersey City!

Best brunch in Jersey City hands down (not that I've ever had a bad meal there)! They have a fantastic menu and a very helpful and energetic staff. The make-your-own hummus vs. plain old bread and butter is genius.

As a former resident of Jersey City on a visit to the Paulus Hook section with my husband and not familiar with all the downtown changes, came upon Amelia's Bistro quite by accident and the fact we were able to find a parking space in front of the restaurant. If that wasn't an invitation in view of the lack of parking spaces, I don't know what is.
We were impressed with the quality of the food and the excellent service. Definitely a place to visit again.- E.S. from Lakewood, NJ

Have to say that Joanne and I arrived from Hobok en rather late on a Sunday night. We stumbled in just taking a chance. Amelia's was open! Hooray! Food and service was great! They stayed opened for us it seemed. Totally original w/the mortar and pistle making hummus! Looking forward to going again!

I have been traveling across the United States for 5 years and rarely have I found a restaurant that excites me. Amelias is that kind of restaurant. The menu selections are unique and the flavors are fantastic. My husband and I had wonderful service and the neighborhood atmosphere was all that we expected Jersey City to be. I highly recommend this restaurant.
