This place makes their rules/prices as they go with no posted notice to their customers. Just ate there yesterday and asked for a to go drink, like I always have. This time I was told that it would cost me $2.00 for the full price of a new drink, even though I had already paid once? This so called new rule is not posted in the menu, at the counter, etc... Will NOT ever go back. I tried to talk to management/owners, and they seemed very arrogant/unconcerned when I complained about this new refill policy and that I would NOT be coming back. Besides, what was I thinking paying $2.50 per taco. I usually only see prices like this in New York City, Chicago, etc...

Just visited here. First time. Really disappointed after the great reviewes. Hamburger on the taco salad was flavorless and also cold, like it was cooked this morning and just sat out all day. The #20 was covered in greasy cheese. The ground beef in the taco had no flavor. The salsa was bland, runny AND chunky, with no consistency. Our waiter couldn't remember our drinks even though there were only TWO other tables with people on them. Neither one of us ate our food, and the waiter only asked if we needed a to go box and never asked why we didn't eat. $20.66 that we will never see again.

You have to try Lucias! It is by far the BEST Mexican food in Kansas City/Independence!
