The log Cabin is one of my favorite places to have a steak ! The owner Big Jim is a great person and will make sure your meal is just as you wish. If you feel like having a drink then step into the lounge for a cold drink with the Bartender Matt . He will make you laugh for hours . The steaks are truly worth the drive to pikeville from all over the US. Do yourself a favor and try the Log Cabin . you wont be sorry.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Log Cabin restaurant. The service was great , but the food was awful and over priced. I had the broiled seafood platter. The fish was mushy, the shrimp and scallops over cooked and tough. The crab was imitation and horribly seasoned. Truly the only thing good about the meal was the salad dressing. I would not recommend to anyone.

Reasonably priced Steaks, prepared as requested. Also had the fried appetizer sampler - fresh. Unfortunately, the dining room is small and since this is Kentucky, smoking patrons were seated close by. Did not appear to have a smoking section.
