Friends, family and I get together to eat Breakfast, about 20 times a year, The Breakfast is always top notch, cost , reasonable based on what is ordered,
The service good,, at times excellent,
Also the place is clean with smoking and non smoking,, separated by a wall ,,
well behaved kids and adults are welcome

I stop at Tim's on a regular basis. Sometimes I am alone but many times have others with me. I have never had an experience like the one mentioned above. The service is great and the food is typical diner quality, which is why I stop there rather than going somewhere else. There are too few of these restaurants left that bring local flavor and color to our lives. You can expect side conversations regarding sports, politics, local happenings, farming, hunting and religion. What a cross section. I have never had bad food and those who come with me always mention how good the food is. This place is very similar to a restaurant in Taos, New Mexico named Mike's. Incidentally, that restaurant wins awards annually. Thanks, Tim and crew for the great food, service and atmosphere.

Anyone wanting a good home cooked meal should avoid this place like the plague. We have eaten there several times over the last year, hoping against hope that each time we go it will be better. But it doesn't get better. It gets worse. The food is ok for those that don't know how to cook but the service is terrible. The latest? We walked in at 12:30, sat ourselves, and waited for someone to come take our drink order. A girl brought a menu and then waited on everyone else that came in the door but us. My in-laws came in 5 minutes after us and sat on the other side, got their order in, got their food, paid their bill and left before we had one piece of food hit our table. We had 2 small children with us and had to give them cheese and peanut butter crackers because they were so hungry. I finally had to ask the waitress to at least bring their food. At 1:22 we still had no food. They did bring one kid's order, but not the other. After another 10 minutes, my daughter and the baby got their meals. I ordered the special (country fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans) and asked the waitress not to put gravy on my food. Any of it. How hard is that? Of course, when my food came everything on the plate was covered in gravy! She sat my plate down in front of me, explaining that she forgot to tell the cook to leave the gravy off, which she should have written on the ticket, by the way, and that they would take it off the bill. They expected me to eat it that way! I suppose that the folks that eat here on a regular basis will eat just about anything because I cannot be the only person in Pendleton and Campbell County that this happens to. My husband gave me his plate (grilled pork chop, green beans and mashed potatoes, which they forgot to put on the plate) and was going to eat mine until he saw that even the green beans (which were WAY too salty) had gravy slopped all over them, too. And if he won't eat it, I wouldn't give it to my dog! And they didn't even say they were sorry. We offered to pay for our drinks, was told not to worry about it, and left, leaving my daughter, her husband and their 2 kids to eat by themselves. You would think that anyone with any knowledge of restaurants and customer service would never have brought that plate to the table. I would have been fine if they had explained what happened and said it would take a couple extra minutes for my food. But they brought that food out and expected me to eat it however it came out of the kitchen. Not this girl. It costs too much money for that. Its NOT reasonably priced for the food you get. What a horrible experience. It's the last time for me. Never going back and advise anyone thinking about stopping for the first time not to bother.
