Top Reviews of Cafe Crepe

When I went to Cafe Crepe is was the most amazing experience I have had in a while. Our waiter/Manager named Hector was extremely nice and pleasent. I cant say there was much of a wait time, we got our food in a timely matter. The Drinks were unbelievably great I had a Traditional Mojito and a Bonito Vito. That Mojito was the best I have ever had. The crepes were to die for. GO TRY CAFE CREPE FOR YOUR SELF!

To offset the very negative review, I must say that the food is good, service is slow but typical of 3rd street promenade, and it's a nice change from the many chains taking over the area.

The food is excellent, as is the service.
Annie is great!

Cafe Crape is a joke. This review is not.

When we enterd, we stood at the front like lost puppies. Nobody greeted us for about 3 minutes. It wasn't until an employee headed our way, on her way to the patio, that we were acknowledged. "Sit wherever you like". Uh, yeah. Hello to you too. I guess she was too busy yelling at the other employees about her bad day to be bothered with manners. Come to find out later that she is a manager, as well as a server! WTF? Too cheap to hire a complete staff, that your current employees are double-billed?!?

So while we waited on the patio for what seemed like forever, Ms. Grumpy (Annie, come to find out later) finally decides to grace us with her presence. "What'll it be?" . . . hmm.. Man, I hate that. More so than her thumb in my eggs when she delivered the food. Troll. Worst personality ever. Unless you appreciate watching other people be scolded like children while at work. I think she had half the restaurant inside as well as the whole patio. Explains the horrible service.

We asked to be moved inside "because it was too hot outside." Yeah right. The service there wasn't better at all. This pudgy surfer guy had no manners either. He was neglectful and rude, and no matter how good food is, that wrecks the experience. I could have swore he was drinking on the job. The food is no better than Denny's, so there's no way I could be dragged back there. Right?

WRONG! Relatives in town insisted we eat there no less than a month later. They had never been before. I am too polite to refuse my relatives, but they sure are sorry I didn't speak up before.

I ate there the second and final time for dinner. Our server was Nanew, a mexican/hawaiian looking guy, with a perma-smile. Ok, better than before. He was polite to us, but good lord was he slow. He didn't have more than 4 tables, but couldn't drag himself away from his conversation with his co-workers to be attentive? Sitting down, eating and chatting away. One of the schlubs was the GENERAL MANAGER! Loafing about, dressed like he was back from his tennis game, drinking his you know what off.

I had to ask the guy cooking the food who these people were, because the servers never told us. I can't believe the GM was getting trashed at the 'mini-bar', helping our service suck! I was so irritated that I felt the need to share with others. Warn others. This place is horrible, and should be shut down immediately and started over.

I'll never be back. You're welcome for the crappy tip, buddy.
