Freshness is the impression one gets
as one steps in.
This is the only place I can get lamb
as lamb kabobs, in a quick dine in.
I like the ethnic stuff like the yougurt
cucumber dip, baklava, and that red sprinkliy
spice.
Took my Mom from out of town, as we were
returning from beach.

Caution. Don't eat there. They are spreading germs. While I was waiting for my food, one of the cooks was coughing and sneezing. He would grab the front of his apron he was wearing with his one-gloved hand and cover his mouth with it as he coughed/sneezed. As I watched, he began preparing my food. He picked up a handfull of lettuce and other vegies with that same gloved hand and rearrange them with his other ungloved hand. How unsanitary was that! Needless to say I explained that to the cashier and asked for a refund. They offered no apologies to the incident.

Chicago is known for good gyros and I lived in Chicago my whole life and come from a family restuarant background. This place rocks. The mojo potatoes are sauteed perfectly. The lamb gyros is awesome. I talked to the owner, he has the Gyros shipped in from Chicago.

You can't go wrong eating here.

This place is very small - better for take out. Food is great and they give you a lot of it. I highly recommend the vegetarian plate.

this is byfar the best meditteranean food i have ever eaten. Their gyros are absolutely delicious, my favorite is the lamb gyro. You havent tried it all until you have tried petit cafe. They have a very good atmosphere, service, and the food is worth the price! YOU HAVE TO TRY IT.
