The Location at in Manhattan Beach, CA. has raisen prices. Seems like $1.00 on alot and 0.75 on others. For three orders of the Super Deluxe Burritos and (Appetizers) Chesse & Chips, with extra 1 each Guacamole & Sour Cream. To my Suprise it was $43.00. And the meals were lacking FLAVOR. They really cut back. Yesterday 3.29.2009 it was not WORTH THE 72 mile Drive. Plus I did not even get a Receipt.

Food is excellent! Cute little place with a authentic atmosphere. Customer service lacks everything to be desired! Called in my order and the woman on the phone was extremely rude! When I arrived to pick up my order and presented her with the coupon I printed right from their website, she refused to take it because it "wasn't their coupon". I explained that I printed it from their website and it was good towards buying one "menu item" and get the second menu item 50% off. Then she claimed I had to buy an entree in order to receive the discount. After I disputed her claim she finally gave me the discount put my food in front of me and walked away.

I grew up in South Bay and loved El Tarascos (Manhatten Beach), and have been desiring the food so bad. Here in San Diego county, we need an El Tarascos bad!

Born and raised in the south bay, worked for standard oil (chevron) in el segundo. ate at all the el tarasco resturants. the one in el segundo was the best. I now live in fergus falls mn. We do have a decent mexican resturant here but you won't find a stem in your chilli reillno!
Peace,

Perfect food after a long day at the beach. Food is great - there is seating for just 8 - and no tables - counter only. I have eaten at this location for over 15 years. When my wife and I moved in together, we wanted to be within three blocks of the beach and three blocks fo Tarascos (and downhill). It never changes - great chips and salsa, and the super-deluxe burrito is spectacular. A beach chair, a good book, a hot date and El Tarasco makes a perfect day.

I Remember When The Little Green Restaurant First Opened In 1969. I Went There About 2 Weeks After It Opened And Haven't Stopped Eatin' At Any Of The El Tarascos. Moise And His Wife Celia Were The Friendliest People Around The Beach Area (Rosecrans& Highland Just Past The Alley Goin' East) God Bless You Both For Opening Up El Tarascos. I Will Never Forget You Both. You're The Best.
