review_stars 03/05/2010 - Value!
Bang for your buck!
Salads are simply amazing,...same for Lemon Garlic Chicken, and service is great considering how busy this place is.
Also had them cater an event for me, and it was flawless.....period.
You can pay ( alot) more and not get food or service this good.
For the price....simply one of the best values you're gonna find.

The quality and pricing is very good. However, eating in is not a pleasant experience. Lots of flies and noisy. Take out only.

I'v been eating at the Valencia restaurant for a couple years and they the food is usually very good. The babybacks don't have alot of meat on them. The salads are good. They have raised their prices and changed some of the meal deals and now it's not much of a deal anymore.

For the reviewer who said he has no idea how one could give it a bad review, I have no idea how he can review it good The management is and has always been incompetent, the chicken is terrible, and when you take out food make sure it was what you ordered or you will have a major problem once home to get them to believe you and not drive back. The only thing positive is their salads and bread.

What a disgrace. After waiting in line for 15 minutes to order (management-Trent-saw fit to have only one register open during the lunch hour) we searched for a table; several were empty, but no one around to clean them, so we stood around and waited. Food came after another 10-15 minutes. If you order the tri-tip, bring your own cutting utensil, preferably a machete or self-propelled chain saw-they would probably charge you for the electricity if you brought a corded device. Charged $1.00 for an extra roll. Had some leftovers plus an extra order of breadsticks-another $5.00; went to get some barbeque sauce to go with the take-out, and was told that we would have to pay for extra lids-they only allow two 1 oz containers. Ironically, you could fill your empty soda cup with sauce-they provide lids for that! Called corporate and was promised a return call…you guessed it-no one returned my call!

I don't know what you guys are talking about!!! I go to Stonefire once a week and have yet to have a bad experience. I am always kindly greeted when I walk in the door and the food is fabulous. The pricing is really fair, in fact their portions are extremely generous for what they charge. I wouldn't condemn a place like stonefire so quickly after just one little mishap....

i have been coming to stonefire grill for years with my family. i had recently encountered a problem with my food, which was no big deal. but this red headed maneger was so rude in front of my small children that i don't think i will ever be going back. too bad because the food is to die for.

AWFUL MANAGER! TERRIBLE! Just okay food, but WAY overpriced. I would honestly say to just go to Carls Jr because its basically the same thing for a lot less money!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I concure with just about everyone else. This is a great local restaurant. The food is great, the prices are very fair, and you can get one dinner and stretch it easily for two people. I've used it (as much of the rest of the West Valley) for holiday catering with excellent results. My only complaint is that the take out line is a mess. Their system needs updating. And although the kids that work there are all very nice, no matter how long they tell you it'll be, add at least 10 minutes. Also, based on what I've read here, I hope I never run into that manager. I can't believe they'd keep anyone so awful working there. It's too nice a place to have that kind of manager in charge. I admit it's probably a stressful job, but there's no excuse to be that rude to customers.

I don't want to leave a positive review because it is the best kept secret in West Hills...I want it all for myself.

Personaly i think this place has one of the best Salads ever made.
the BBQ Sause with the ranch is Deliciouse..
The manager is very mean though but besides that this grill is perfect

The pricing is perfect and i am a person who doesn't have that much money. The portions are excellant. Two thumbs up.

This restaurant has the rudest manager I have EVER encountered. Order taker made a mistake and put in for a side order instead of the salad I'd ordered. When it came, the waiter went to get me a salad, then returned to say the manager said if I wanted my salad I'd have to pay extra for it. When I spoke to the manager later, she all but told me to F**K OFF. I will NEVER patronize a StoneFire Grill again, and with a management attitude like that, expect they will not be in business for long. All over an item that cost $1.29.

That's bloody insane!

we love stonefire. The salads come in a large bowl and the small is generally enough for two. The ingredients are fresh and delicious....We understand it's a "fast food" service arrangement and it doesn't bother us... we know the drill and the staff is always friendly.there are comfy booths and a $2 corkage which makes it all the more affordable when you've got multiple college tuitions to pay and still want to dine out with your spouse. We don't go there for lunch because it's so popular with the warner center and local office staffs. It's not fancy, but it's good food at very reasonable prices.
