I ate at New Wok for the first time on the afternoon November 28, 2014 with a friend and it was wonderful! We ordered curry and Mongolian chicken from the lunch specials menu for $5.05/tax. It included pork fried rice and 2 pieces of crab rangoon. To tell you the truth I wasn't expecting much, its just a small restaurant wedged into a tiny strip mall after all. Very pleasantly surprised! Food arrived so hot we had to wait for it to cool and there was so much of it! Literally the box each meal was served in was at least 2 pounds! Staff was very courteous and while it lacks the pomp of other local Chinese restaurants it more than makes up for it in the outstanding quality of the food. Thank you!

Ordered sesame chicken and it came without sesame's and the chicken was hard and not edible also the combination fried rice lacked shrimp, pork, and chicken. The lady that works at New Wok in Abbeville LA. is rude and not customer friendly. She told me to bring it back the next day but I had already thrown it all in the trash. I had no vehicle so I had no way to bring it back. When I called to ask about the sesame's she said I give you double portion next time. Well I can honestly say there will be no next time. This establishment and the lady are the worst.
