The place was expensive i thought it would be a lot cheaper just for one person.

Great employees and great service! The management there is especially friendly and helpful. And the famous torpedo is better than anything I've ever had at another sub place.

It's a Lowell, Mass institution, plain and simple!

I've been going there since I was a little boy, I'm 47 years old now and they still have the BEST subs in the entire region. Their famous torpedo can't be beat and believe me I've tried out many a deli and sub shop. And the people who work there are the greatest ever. They always great you with a smile. The only thing I don't like is that I don't get to go there as often as when I lived down the street from it, but whenever I'm near, I gotta get me a torpedo. They are fantastic. If you never been there, you MUST go and try it. I let my sister inlaw from Texas try the cheese steak and she was able to feed her whole family when she got back to Texas. She and her family were AMAZED at how generous the servings are. She wishes George would open up a Deli in Texas so she can get a real sub. I guess in Texas they don't know how to make a good sub at all.

Try the chicken Kabob -- nothing like it in the area---Great !

I like there food a little too expenceve but still there really big portoins i can buy one meal and feed two people.
