GRILLED OCTOPUS IS GREAT WHEN THEY HAVE IT. I USED TO LIKE THE PLACE WHEN IT WAS MORE A FAMILY RESTAURANT INSTEAD OF A POOL HALL AND BAR. THE SERVICE HAS CHANGED AND THE LITTLE WAITER FROM GRACIOSA LEFT AND EVERYTHING WENT DOWN HILL FROM THERE. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER AND HIRE HIM BACK AND CHANGE THE POOL HALL MEN'S BAR ATMOSPHERE AND YOU WILL HAVE BETTER BUSINESS.

The place has alot of potential, but not how its displayed today. It smells, too dark not a warm feeling to be there and the food and staff are just horrible. Needs a major make over, new Chef and Mg for it to succeed. Not a place I'd reccomend to anyone, especially for business lunches.

Shame to say that i tried there food. I agree it does take forever to arrive if you go there for dinner!
But having it being served buffet for a function. The food was fresh, it tasted home cooking, the placed as well decor. They did not miss the beat. I ried there items that a new chef is preparing authentic Portuguese cuisene.
I will give it another try. As we so called Portuguese should give our neighbors a second chance. I hear that they are going for a new Look as well ! guest at Cafe Europa

I agree this place is a waste of anyone's time. Not only did the food take forever to get to the table, but once it did arrive all of us were very dissapointed at how bad it was. Last place I would go for Portuguese food in Lowell.

Food and service is horrible. I hate to be negative, but this place is not worth anyone's time or money. You'll wait forever for the food (and the place will be dead) and the food doesn't seem fresh nor is it savory.
