its the worst restaurant i have ever visit, very bad management which dont know any thing about dealing with customers, food took forever to be cooked what can i say ..just don't even think to try the rest.

My wife and I made reservations at Fortunato's for Valentine's Day after some friends who live in the area recommended it. The food was great! We tried the pasta nacho appetizer, which was different but so good (a little large to eat before dinner, but so tasty........). We had a great meal and good service despite the restaurant being totally packed! Next time we're in town we'll definately be back......looking forward to sitting out on their patio we heard about when the spring comes.

I think some of these negative reviewers might need to calm down a bit!!! They had me so skeptical of this place I put off going there for 3 months after I moved right down the street. Guess what. IT IS OUTSTANDING. The waitress and Fortunate’s were both very friendly and generous the food was absolutely tasty; the calamari appetizer was HUGE and tasty. The house salad with gorgonzola was like nothing I have ever tasted. I'm generally a meat-guy but I would return just for the CASTINSLATA SALAD IS THE BEST I EVERR TATED. Also the they have a great selection of sea food. honestly they have the best food in town.

I know in the past they have a bad service but with the new management it is great I always liked to go to fortunate’s. I really regret not having gone earlier and have learned to read other people's reviews with a huge grain of salt, believe me!
Well at least they make their food fresh daily that is why some time take a bit time. And if any one has an issue you should speak with manger or the owner they are really friendly people. I highly recommend it

This restaurant came highly recommended by friends. I made a reservation before a show I was going to see with my family. We waited 50 minutes after we ordered for our food to come out without an apology or explaination from the waitress. We didn't have time to eat and had to put the food directly into the to-go boxes when it arrived. We were charged for the entire meal and when I asked if they could possibly comp one of the meals we were turned down and told we could "get free dessert or coffee" the next time we came in. Two problems with that: we were given no coupon etc, so how could we prove we were to get free food, and why would we ever come back after such poor service? We never saw a manager or were given an explaination for why our food took so long. I have years of experience working in the service industry and am very forgiving, having been in the shoes of a server, but this was hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The food was very good (what little I had of it) but the service alone will keep me from ever going back again.

My Wife and I walked in to no host, after about 5 minutes someone seated us in front of the musicians speaker which was uncomfortably loud we could not even hear each other across the table. When finally saw the host I asked to be relocated to a table farther away. Then we waited, after about 20 minutes of wait staff ignoring us we finally walked out. I have to say this was the worst service I have ever had any where.
We ended up going to Scoala's in Dracut. We were seated in about 2 minutes, had menus and drinks ordered with in a few minutes. Scolas was 3 times as busy but the wait staff was quick and attentive. Best of all the food was great.
These folks should try Scola's or Luciano's Cafe in Londonderry to see how great service and the jazz duo thing in the restaurant should work.
WE WILL NOT BE BACK

The food was great and the service was supper plus as well , we where a group of 10 couples every one order a deferent kind of meal and drinks, amazing the waitress did not mess upon at all she knew who’s order and drinks is , I had lobster ravioli and my girl friend had Neptune chicken it was so delicious. And we love there live music band I think they have a live music every weekend.
The price was reasonable and much better than Italian
Restaurant in Boston areas. Highly recommended.

I got the fruti d'mare and the sauce was so overwhelming. Not hot just so much of the sauce. Also the dish was suppose to come with crab meat and they failed to add. I advised the waitress and was told the fakes are so small you would not have noticed it. Service slow for only 5 full tables. Also, no air condition and the ceiling fans were off. I asked for both to be turned on but they also failed at that. Horrible restaurant especially for what they charge. Olive Garden beats this one!
