best ever had can not get enough need more

review_stars 12/08/2018 - Jeanne B.....
Had a beautiful lunch today, old favorite chicken croquettes, delicious, generous two patty portion.......i had Fried Scallops, tender fresh and enough to satisfy. I'd definitely go back. Home made banana cream pie.......yummy.

After many years of being a faithful quality customer Good Thymes has lost me. I buy a take out order once a week. I pay and even leave a tip on a takeout. After 4 weeks in a row of inaccurate orders, no available parking and VERY SUBSTANTIAL price increases tonight was the final visit. Good Thymes got my $40 and got to keep the once again inaccurate food order. As a business owner myself I'm once again left in shock as to how a business, such as Good Thymes, with declining quality, service & value remain in business.

we eat there often...take all my friends and relatives when they come to town. the seafood is sooooo scrumptious....the turkey dinners are huge and delicious....desserts are fantastic. the older crowd is a definite plus as it is nice and quiet!

This place is great. Not sophisticated, Just simple food done right. All the seafood is fresh with generous portions. All the wait staff are competent.. It's just nice to eat at a place where everybody knows their job and does it well. It's really pretty impressive. We like to go in the lull between lunch and dinner so it seems to be mostly a retired local crowd but thats when it's easiest to get a table.

This place is complete crap, The French fries tasted like fish. Soda watered down, the waitstaff were to busy talking to be bothered waiting on guests. Don't waste your money going here.

we eat here 2-3 times a month. the chicken parm and the baked or fried haddock is our favorite. the corn chowder is really good too! family style. lots of regular customers.

I love this place. The food is great and old school family style Lowell food.

The croquettes are awesome and the place is nice and quiet - mostly senior citizens eat there.

A very nice place to eat, excellent food and the prices are good.

What can I say, the food, the staff, the owner AMAZING. My only problem is what to order it is all so darn good. The haddock is the best I have ever had !! Glad to see your business expanding !!

Good Thymes is the best! Excellent food served by a very friendly wait staff who cater to your needs.
You know when a restaurant is always busy with the hometown crowd the food has to be the best around.
Nice to hear they are enlarging their dining area to accommodate their customers and also for small gatherings with extra parking available. Can hardly wait!

IF you like corned beef and cabbage, this place is very good. You must try it, you won't be sorry.

Have been waiting to go back to Good Ty mes for 2 years We are from FL, eat out a lot and found only a very few places that compare to Good Ty mes in Lowell. We will be back many times before we return to Florida.

MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO GOOD THYMES RESTAURANT ON A RECOMMENDATION FROM A FRIEND. WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. MY HUSBAND GOT THE CLAM STRIPS. THE PLATE WAS LOADED AND THE TARTAR SAUCE WAS VERY TASTY. I GOT THE SHORT RIBS AND THEY WERE EXCELLENT. BOTH CAME WITH SIDES. MY HUSBAND ORDERED 2 DRINKS. THE BILL CAME TO $35.00. GREAT CHEAP EAT. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL. MAY 2010

Well lets see what to say about the place I work at for oh the last 7 years... good food good service. highly recommend the grilled ribeye steak.

I love my coworkers and I love the costumers that come in that know me. I can't believe that its been seven years. Good food at the Good Thymes Family Restaurant. Keep on posting and check out the website at www.goodthymesfamilyrestruarnt.com

My husband and I go to Good Thymes often. It is very reasonably priced and the food is very fresh, even the fish. I have not had a bad meal there yet. I loved the red velvet cupcake and when I asked for the recipe, I NEVER expected to get it. Great people work there! Go just once, you will be hooked.

First time at Happy Thymes The wait staff was very nice the food was good but... I have never paid $9.00 for a watered down bicardi and pepsi in my life. That's absurd ! A Total Rip Off and because of that we won't be back .To bad....

review_stars 08/30/2009 - Rick
We go miles out of our way to eat here whenever we can. The menu is very extensive and everything is top notch. It is a little neighborhood place... not fancy... but with great food at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and efficient. Great desserts too.

Finally went after reading all the reviews. The only negative is lack of parking. Four of us dined there, and the service was the best I have ever had and all four dinners were delicious and reasonably priced. I love this place and will return often.

They need a bigger restaurant to handle the line waiting for tables.

My fiance and I go to Good Thymes regularly and we love it! The service is excellent and the staff is extremely pleasant and friendly. It's a great place that people of all ages will enjoy, although it is typically an older crowd... my grandmother would have loved it here!!! We highly reccomend it...if you want to be treated like your family and you want a great meal for a good price that...go to Good Thymes!

Very good food, a wide selection and great specials. Love the old fashioned things like croquettes and pickled beets! Friendly waitresses and good value. Great place to take the family.

Great food with a surprisingly-broad range of selections, paired with very reasonable prices and excellent, very friendly service in a clean, well-lit, comfortable dining room - that's what Good Thymes offers it's guests (along with off-street parking). Definitely a great place for dinner, especially for a group with differing tastes.

The prime rib and crabmeat pie, when on special are delightful. Always great service, pleasant staff, and the cleanliness is unsurpassed. Most of all, they have a desssert that's sinfully delicious called amaretto or toasted almond cream cake. I highly recommend this restaurant for this dessert, the food variety, and the consistency.

I have been to Good Thymes a few hundred times, and it is always excellent, the service is top notch. I have never had a bad meal there. I highly recomend the Turkey Croquettes and pink lemonade.

Have gone here numerous times, it seems to be a hit with the elder/family crowd. The staff is very accomodating in serving you a complimentary beverage while you wait for a table, and handling special requests.
The portions are very large and the bread is excellent. I highly recommend the sweet/sour chicken and steak tips.
