There subs are huge but the steak for the steak and cheese is made ahead of time as well as the fries so the product is dry when you get it. I guess that's why it only takes 10 minutes to make it.. :(

Steak N Cheese are beyong amazing and over following. Cold cut subs are as well. A small fry can feed 3 people . Fish dinner dinner will too.

Have been around for ever ,and reason why is not only do they have the best Sandwiches (Torpedo's ) they also have the best customer service. Treat you like a friend when you go in, they are always asking how my Dad is, as they know most of the food I buy is for him and he is unable to get out of the house due to his age
but my old man is old school tough to please at times, but he insists from now on i only got to get his lunch/dinner from them . I will always recommend people from work or are coming in from out of town looking for a place I will always recommend George's as they truly are the best in more way then one

Only wish we could order and pay online and then can just pick up. Everyone in work agrees makes easier to do runs at lunch and pick up everyones who ordered and not worrry about sorting out who owes what..

Probably the best cheesesteak in Lowell these guys have been there forever ! I love everything on their menu except for their fish I'm not a big fish eater but I've heard great things about it! Plenty of on-street parking they definitely can get busy for lunch time

Man, this place is outstanding. I discovered it a few months ago and I’m a regular now...I work close by. Had a small pastrami sub today....wow, amazing. Everything I try is damn near perfect. Keep up the good work!

This place has been there for ever. I have been going as long as I can remember. My parents and I used to go over, grab a few sandwiches and park over at St. Patrick's Cemetary and eat them there.
Most of my family is buried there!
Good food and good people that run the place.

I've been going there since I was a little boy, I'm 47 years old now and they still have the BEST subs in the entire region. Their famous torpedo can't be beat and believe me I've tried out many a deli and sub shop. And the people who work there are the greatest ever. They always great you with a smile. The only thing I don't like is that I don't get to go there as often as when I lived down the street from it, but whenever I'm near, I gotta get me a torpedo. They are fantastic. If you never been there, you MUST go and try it. I let my sister inlaw from Texas try the cheese steak and she was able to feed her whole family when she got back to Texas. She and her family were AMAZED at how generous the servings are. She wishes George would open up a Deli in Texas so she can get a real sub. I guess in Texas they don't know how to make a good sub at all.
