Amazing!

review_stars 05/18/2011 - Justmoved
I just moved around the corner from these guys and I have to say if they accepted credit cards they could easily make a fortune. Their coffee is always amazing when I get it and their donuts are fresh and tasty. The prices are also AMAZING for the quality. I've been carrying cash with me just so I don't have to go to the "other guys" but every now and then I don't have cash and those are the mornings I regret having to get coffee from DD, which most of the time is so bad compared to Top Donut that I don't bother to drink it.

Donuts are delicious but do not get their donut holes. For some reason they're not that great and taste a bit stale. Their coffee is delicious though. It always tastes fresh and the same. Not at all like dunkins. I go there and one day my coffee is too sweet, the next it tastes like soap and sometimes I wonder if it's even coffee. Lol. Not to mention that top donut has a speedy drive through and their staff is always pleasant. Love it.

really good! cheap, i love it! great value!

the donut's are great, but you can order regular flavored ice coffee, end up with hazelnut or some other flavor, you brink it back the owner says you are wrong.

Donuts are 10X better than dunks and coffee is not only better, but cheaper! If there were more top donuts around, I'm convinced they would put D&D out of business!
Word of mouth made me try them and I was amazed.

If you like Donna's Donuts then you'd like Top Donut! Personally I think Top Donut surpasses every other donut shop I went to. The service is always friendly and did you see the size of their croissants-- it's like three times DD's!!

The Staff are friendly. The Donuts and coffee are fantastic. The Apple Friitter is amazing!!! Now I am hungry again!

Much better than Ducan Donuts....HANDS DOWN!

Great pastries, donuts, and coffee! Way better than DD. I personally feel the way they make their coffee is a little too sweet for a regular, but I just ask for less sugar. Staff always is quite nice, and I've actually been able to talk to the owners themselves, which is always a plus.
Prices are great esp. for donuts and pastries and muffins. Huge muffins and Sandwiches! I actually weighed a muffin once and it was easily 6+ ounces or more, while I think most places the standard is 4/5 ounces. Sandwiches are a bit on the high priced side, but its ok since they are huge and basically give double what you usually get (ex: 2 eggs, 4 strips of bacon, 2 slices of cheese, etc in a croissant sandwich). Overall, I love the place!
As for other local donut businesses to compare them to, Top Donut definitely ranks pretty high up there. Its an improvement over DD, Heavenly donuts, and Honeydew donuts for sure. Their value is quite good. As for Donna's Donuts in Tewksbury, I believe they bought donuts from Top Donut at a wholesale price to resell for a while (which goes to show how good TD is). I'd recommend it to any fellow donut fan!

Excellent coffee, best donuts, better and fresher than dunkin, great lemon square, muffins. I go to the one in lawrence. Top donut is also on youtube. I use to go to heavenly donuts but top donut tastes better. Top donut on youtube, what a hoot.

I live in southern New Hampshire and when the power went out I searched and searched for somewhere to grab a coffee and some food. I stumbled upon the new Top Donut location on Bridge Street. I fell in love with that place. Even though there were so many people in there with my same situation the service was quick. The employees were friendly and professional through all the chaos. I came due to the power outages but I'll stay for the delicious food I enjoyed.

I've never had a problem with top donut, the service is great, it's never too full and you are well cared for in seconds. This is at peak hours in the morning which is impressive.

Their food is good but with dunkin donuts introducing all these breakfast sandwiches they do fall a little short.

the cleanest establishment that i have ever been in

I love the Girls who work there... they're always very friendly and kind no matter how bad the weather is outside. Their little comments always put a smile on my face.

I agree with everything that everybody else has said about the service; the people who work there are pleasant and friendly. However, while the pastries are very good, I've found the doughnuts at Top Donut are not what they used to be. The last few doughnuts I've had were not only small but stale, a cardinal sin for a doughnut fiend like myself. I agree, DD is the evil empire and we should support the local shops as much as possible, but if their product is lacking I'd rather go somewhere else. Frankly, Donna's Donuts in Tewksbury and Demet's Donuts in Medford make much better doughnuts than Top Donut.

I doubt Top Donut will accept an offer from Dunkin' Donuts, they are far more better, smarter, and has wonderful and tasty pastries, sandwiches etc. The're hardworking and I bet they're trying their best to find places that Dunkin' Donuts haven't already stolen from them. There ice coffes are to die for! There staff always seems to be in a good mood.

Far superior to the Dunk. Aweswome iced coffee and pastry to die for!

review_stars 05/25/2007 - shmiel
Best coffee in town. Far surpasses Dunkin's in quality and atmosphere. Very hard working people creating a quality cup of coffee and great home made doughnuts. Please stick around. We will miss you!!!!

very nice employees. better everything than dunkins. is also cheaper. support them. we need a change from dunkins.

review_stars 10/17/2006 - Phantom Donut
Dunkins will eventually give them an offer they can not refuse. The donuts are much better quality - tasting and value than dunkins. The coffee when fresh is also as good and cheaper. Also sells sandwiches that are decent when you are in a hurry. They are a thorn in Dunkins side and DD will eventually attempt to cluster around their perimeter and suffocate them by franchising everyone and their dog. ie gas stations - stores.
Top Donut does it better and cheaper without the marque of a big franchise. Support Top Donut doing it better because they try harder
