Great experience. Food & service wonderful. Owner went out of his way to make sure our dining experience was enjoyable. Location & atmosphere perfect for our purposes (near Capitol & Univ of Wisconsin). Will return every time I'm in Madison.

This place used to be a lot better, menu very much sucks now, not impressive, chef must be an idiot. Owner Chuck Taylor is very unprofessional and knows nothing about this venue, couldn't answer questions about ANYTHING I asked. Very old building and not well kept. I was very very unhappy with the meal I received and would not ever come back. Gnocchi not cooked correctly, fish was not cooked correctly, broccolini was not done correctly, and sauce was pathetic. Very much overpriced. As a foodie myself, I can't believe they are still in buissness. So much wrong, so little right !
