I just returned from dinner at this restaurant. I went to hear the Dixieland band and anticipated mediocre food, given the on-line reviews. I was(and those with me were) very pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was excellent (appetizers, salads, vegetables,traditional burgers, and Cajun specialties) and the service was very good. It is too bad the crowd was so small--I suspect the negative reviews have chased people away, but I want to encourage others to dine at the Bourbon Street Grille. I will be back!

Just left Bourbon Street for lunch. It is a nice location on the river, and our waitress was friendly, but the good things end there. I had the jambalaya and it was much closer to a bland spaghetti sauce than any jambalaya I've ever tasted. The menu said there was sausage, but there was so little of it that you couldn't see or taste it. My co-worker ordered the mushroom burger, medium rare and it came to her well past well done. I had to ask for my side salad as the waitress forgot it. Needless to say, I will not give this place a second chance

What a great place! No one can offer the atmosphere of indoor and huge outdoor dining! A fun place to hang out with friends.
