I really promote BSP.. they are the best here in Maine. I travel from Bangor Maine to the restaurant for product that the prepare for me.
I have tried other so called "Mexican Food". BSP is the best I love tamales & the chimichanga's. They have a good team of people and great service. I recommend you to go and try the food.

It was the last day of the Pirate Festival in Eastport and my family and I decided to try this new Mexican restaurant in downtown Eastport. I have to say, living in California your whole life it's hard to top some of the Mexican food i've had in my life. But the food was good and actually its the best Mexican food i've had on the east coast. My son and I both had the chimmiechangas which were amazing. But all in all we loved our food and we will defiantly come back again.

good food, but poor service. unfriendly, act like customers are an inconvenience. wondering if all the hype and great reviews have gone to the head perhaps?? but again, it's true that the food is excellent.

Eastport's Best Ethnic Restaurant is Maine's Best Mexican As Well.
Bank Square Deli in Eastport has the best Pizza North of Portland and Italian Sandwiches that stand shoulder to shoulder with Maine's legendary Amato's. The long lines speak volumes of the quality and great prices.
It is the Mexican food however that is really worth t...he visit for me. It is the kind of place worth driving 100 miles for. The owner was born and raised in Mexico City. Her dishes are nothing less than pure Mexican culinary artistry. If you are looking for Tex/Mex border food made with hamburger this is not the place. If however you are looking for the freshest and best flavors of Mexico City without having to fly there... this is the magical spot to head for. Her beef is real shredded spicy Mexican beef. Real black beans and everything is fresh and made from scratch. The prices are very reasonable and the service reflects true Downeast hospitality. The daily specials reflect my favorite foods of real Mexico. The menu can be enjoyed there, or everything is also available to go. I wish that one day they would expand and open a Mexican Restaurant. It would be the best in Maine and the Maritimes.
