Well went to china star and heard it had new owners, i was told one of the items was going to be a few more min, so i was offered another item. and got a free eggroll .
The people were real nice and i will go back.

I have been searching for years for better food served than china star but you just cant beat them. Sure, maybe its not authentic Chinese but it's great! The food is fresh,hot and tastes fantastic. The portions are generous.Anything I have ever ordered there has always been delicious, you just cant beat them.

Hey Jackhole, The anonymous dude who posted the negative feedback on this take out restaurant. What exactly were you looking for? These people barely make about $8.00 an hour and you're griping because you didn't get a gold plated dinner complete with all star service. Being that this is Westfield, Ma and take out is so prevalent, and sit down high end service is so limited, be thankful you even got to go to a buffet. We even have buffet's around here?

The next time you want authentic Asian Food, I suggest you buy a one way ticket to the Orient and call Anthony Bourdain or somebody who gives a rat's -ss.

the fact that this place has not been shut down by the board of health yet amazes me. I just went in for my 3rd (and last) time--providing I don't die of food poisoning. for $6 (rounded up by the counter person, mind you) I ate 3 rangoon and some rice. the sushi was warm, the green beans were limp, and I spent 10 minutes deveining my shrimp. yep--shrimp sh*t in my food. additionally, when I commented on the abundance of fruit flies at the buffet, the server laughed at me. when I went to pay, I had to stand near the kitchen and smell something nasty; my credit card fell on the floor and was covered in hair when I picked it up. this was on the WET floor which was supposedly just cleaned. I will never ever go there again--this place is a disgrace.

This restaurant is has the freshest and the best food around. Great owners Jim and Mary go out of there way for you.
