When I visited Miami, Bahamian Connection boiled fish, grits, and johnny cake was a must have! Now that I live in Miami, Bahamian Connection is a must have for my visiting family and friends. They just moved to a new, improved, and larger location with more room and a dinner menu. Hands down, the best place for boiled fish and grits.

I've been going there for years when I want some true fish and grits or peas and grits this is the place to go make me feel if I was back on the island.
I only suggest that the hours should be posted in the advertisement or in the greeting when calling the store. I woke up on a weekend at about 5 am and had the taste for it and a friend wanted the stew fish and johnny cake but I kept calling awaiting for someone to answer the phone before we make that 45 minute drive, because that's how bad we wanted it and nothing else would do. Delicious

One of the best Caribbean restaurants in Miami located in a historic town. Family owned and operated! The owner swears by his dads famous recipe for boiled fish and grits! "If it's not the best you don't pay" lol...Fresh conch and seafood is used in every dish straight from the seas of the Bahamas. This little cozy spot is sure to make any true Bahamian food lover come back for more.
