I visit this restaurant often and like the menu and the service. However, the greeters are below average. They have attitude and are not friendly to patrons. Just thought you'd like to know.

I just left the hospital with three family members that received food poisoning from salmon. I know of several friends, family and aquaintances that have recieved food poisoning from this up-scale resturant. Obviously management is notified before the Health Dept. arrives. Not only is the fish blind but so is management and the Lapeer County Health Dept. This has been going on for years!

This has become our favorite restaurant. My husband gets a huge prime rib and I get crab legs and stuffed shrimp. They both come with salads and potatoe of your choice and all the bread you can eat. All this for about 45.00! The Keno is fun on the barside as well. We have never left disappointed.

My husband and I eat there often. We think it is the best place in town and when our grown children come to Lapeer, eating there is a must. The prime rib is always delicious and my son in law says the giant crab legs are better in Lapeer then in the D.C. area. Cheesey potato soup is a must eat when I go and the french dip sandwiches are heaven. So much food, I always bring home a "take away" box and can enjoy a second meal the next day

On Saturday February 25, 2012 I and 3 others dined at The Blind Fish. The food was cold service was poor not once did our waitress come to our table to ask about anything. Upon getting our bill the gratuity was added in, not pleased with that either.
Probably will not return to this restaurant.

A friend took me out for my birthday dinner in March at Blind Fish in Lapeer. We often go to Kruse and Muer because I love their Maryland Chicken, but she was coming up to Lapeer. She was looking at the menu and told me excitedly that they they offered Maryland Chicken. I was not excited because I thought there was no way it could measure up to Kruse and Muer. After much debate, I decided to take a chance and order it. Was I ever amazed that I actually liked it even better! The chicken has a light coating and had much more crab meat and the shrimp sauce was just as delicious. The portion was also larger. I ordered the au gratin potatoes, a Cesar salad, and their bread, which was very delectable. For dessert, we split an ice cream brownie. The meal was absolutely delicious and to top it all off, we had the best waitress ever! The atmosphere was cozy with low lighting. It was a fantastic dining experience!!!!

My wife and I had Lunch there on a Saturday in Fall of 2008, we both had a $10.00 Shrimp Dinner. We're from the Detroit Metro Area, based on Shrimp Lunch and Dinner costs in our area I was afraid we would leave hungry. What an Incredible Surprise, the plates were stacked high with 30 count size shrimp which had been deep fried to perfection. My most pleasant surprise was instead of cocktail sauce they were served with Sweet Baby Ray's Barbeque Sauce which is what I use at home. We're meeting Four other couples there this Saturday 4/25/2009 for Lunch, 52 miles one way,
We're looking forward to a nice ride and great lunch. RED LOBSTER "WHO?"
