Featherbone is not table cloth dinning, it is a small town restaurant and bar, you will get locals singing their favorite song. The food, for the price is good. Wide selection, full bar, cheap tap beer prices. Friendly staff, even met the owner, very pleasant. I have never had a bad meal there or poor service. Some times they do get more customers in than they have staff, but that does happen at any place you go to.

Quite possibly the worst meal we have ever had. The waitress was nice, but our food was disgusting. Portabella burger was a not so well-washed mushroom on a stale bun. The fries were frozen and then over-fried. The patty melt was inedible. We felt robbed when we got the bill. We will never go there again.

I went into Featherbone Restaurant, 6741 US Highway 12, Three Oaks, MI 49128 on March 11, 2012 around 6pm to meet some friends and family I had not seen for quite some time (being from out of town).
The service was acceptable by the wait staff but the food was something left to be desired. A Hawaiian pizza was ordered which was mediocre. The pork sliders, which were totally un-edible (rancid tasting) were sent back. We informed them they were not edible. I was asked if I would like to order something else but decided not to. When the bills came at the end of the evening I was informed by the wait staff, I would have to pay for the sliders even though they were sent back. I refused and the manager was called out and (rudely) told me the police would be called if I did not pay the entire check. I asked them "What if I had ordered something else?", and was informed I would have been charged for "BOTH" items. THEY CALLED THE POLICE (claiming theft of services)! I spoke to the officer and he sided with the establishment and told me if I did not pay the check, a warrant would be issued for my arrest. I paid for the sliders ($6.99) rather than be arrested.
What an experience to have on vacation.
This will not, nor ever will be on any of my family or friends list as a place to eat or visit or "ever go" for that matter.
