review_stars 08/05/2022 - Owner is horrible
READ TO THE END

Worst place I ever went to. The owner wouldn’t let my family sit together she just said to bad you didn’t all walk in together. I never went to a place so horrible in my life. We went to this town spread ashes of a family member and the families parents went here I guess years past, found out we had two people coming after sitting us and said we had to split our party. No care at all for the reason. Wouldn’t let us move a table when the place had tumbleweeds rolling around. The place was dead wouldn’t even let us move a few chairs. Wouldn’t let us join a table. Just mean. We had 10 people total 8 just sitting normally. From what I saw there was 6 waiters and maybe 8 other patrons in the joint total with probably 80% empty. Even if it was because of saving room for other patrons they closed a third of the sitting areas just because. They also closed the doors at 8 who does that in a summer village. The pub and bar across the street we started at when we left with had a 30-40 minute wait (we did go around the corner with 100 people and no wait). We wouldn’t have stayed long. They could just have opened that empty area if they got swamped, which is good business. The food was overpriced from what I saw on the menu. $15 for a burrito, I couldn’t even get a fizzy pop in 15 minutes. I walked out. Again the owner was just rude for no reason. I wouldn’t normally say this stuff online but after the owner said what she did to Chris Gillespie. I was out back yelling about how mean she was to my sister and husband and lady who overhead us was her sons wife and her kids were in a van and she just said to us that just a while ago, this owner in front of them kids yelled to never comeback and did it in-front of the kids. Who does that. They ARE kids. I went back in and even asked her if she was ok and she snapped at me and said yes… really I left because she lied to me and didn’t say she was having a rough day. Owner is older lady with white hair and glasses so you know I’m for real. She is poisonous.

All I wanted was the family to sit together like every other place I ever went to in my life in the years I have been alive. I have never went to a restaurant who was empty try to split us up for no good reason besides “I said so”.

Cheers, I was the guy in the white button up who left with the +2 patrons with me out back while your staff apologized to my family for you, who didn’t, without knowing your family business out back also.

Now yell at me like everyone else who leaves a negative feedback that sounds all to familiar. And yes I updated this a lot every time I remembered more so everyone else gets the true vibes I had. And yeah I didn’t eat the food. But my party did. They said it was ok. I can get ok at McDonald’s. That in no way to me relieved the anxiety or creepy feeling or a college try of having to deal with your business. I wanted to deal with my families.
