Have been a customer for many decades and enjoyed the food & hospitality. This year (2023) something has changed -- especially the quality of the meals. Service is okay, but not as good as before.
Previously, you didn't have to ask for bread to be brought to the table before your entree,,,now, if you don't ask, you don't get it....small touch, but says a lot. The entrees are just not great....bland, often not hot, and portions are modest for the prices. Sad

How pathetic you changed your FAMOUS fish chowder. It's now utterly DISGUSTING. It's my understanding you can't get enough whitefish. That's a flat out lie. I can go to The Villagers Pub and order DELICIOUS whitefish ALL DAY LONG. You are simply making a CHEAP, TASTELESS all potato soup and selling it for an OUTRAGEOUS price. SHAME ON YOU.

We’ve been to the weathervane several times for our anniversary. It’s always been great. However this year was far different. I ordered the special, rib eye at $54 and my wife had the other special, prime rib. The prime rib was fine but my steak was inedible. After carving off the bone and the fat, I was left with maybe 10 ounces of meat. I ordered it done medium rare, it came out black. It was 5/8 inches thick at best and was full of grizzle. I attempted about 5 or 6 bites which I could not chew completely and had to put them back on my plate. I alerted the waitress, who apologized and told the manager. She came out, I told her the problem, and she said, “well you ate it” as if I came to get a free meal. I was insulted, and said nothing as she took it away. I was presented with a free dessert, and a $25 credit on my bill, but Her insulting attitude was absolutely unacceptable, I doubt I’ll ever be back.
