This place has been there for 37 years. Always consistent. Really good barbeque and fresh catfish. Very good service and prices.

I ordered the rib plate , I saw that the ribs looked old and dry. I asked if they could get some ribs that are fresh. The owner went to the back and came out with a pan with ribs in it. He took out a slab of ribs and asked if I wanted anything else. I said yes and ordered two other mixed meals with ribs, brisket and sausage. He fixed those meals first using the old ribs. However he just took two ribs off of the slab. He placed it on the plate and put the rest of the old ribs on my plate. He thought that I did not see what he did. I was so frustrated by that time I just took the plate even though I did not want the old ribs. He made me feel that I was just holding up his line and needed to move on. After getting our meals the ribs were old, dry, tuff and the sides were all cold and you could taste the grease in them . We ate what we could and left most of the meal untouched. About 15 minutes after leaving Bowie's we had to pull off the road to vomit we were all so sick. Called to report it to the owner he would not even talk to me or return my call. Reporting them to the health dept.

Wanted some good potato salad and baked beans.
Was really disappointed.
Baked beans were very plain.
Potato salad didn't taste home made.
Will not go back.

Food was way to salty and the workers where not that friendly, they just kinda stood there and looked at you. That was my first time there and last. Also one of the workers did something really gross and we had a hard time believeing that happened.
