I absolutely LOVE Bates City Bar-B-Q. It is not all fancy and expensive like other places. This is a Hometown Place with Low Prices! The meat is always delicious and the servings are plentiful. If you want to drive to Lee's Summit and pay double because the place has atmosphere, go right ahead. I'll stick with this place where I know I am paying for GREAT food.

Was ok food but service not very good at listening to Customers.

Ordered 2 ham sandwiches said no Pickles they put Pickles on plate juice got on buns.Go up tell them they didnt apoligize or offer other buns.There was a older lady working and a younger one.Neither know Respect ive not been back Since.

GRET FOOD ATMOSPHERE, SERVICE
THE FOOD WAS ALL FRESH TASTING AND NOT WARMED OVER. EVERYONE WAS TREATED WITH THE UPMOST RESPECT. I PLAN ON STOPPING AGAIN NEXT TIME I COME THROUGH MO.
