Heard so much about the sweet potato fries on the reviews it made me eager to dine at this tiny place. I truly enjoy freshly made sweet potato fries. I asked the waiter before ordering a simple question. Do you make your own in house or are they frozen? I asked 3 times and could not weasel a direct yes or no answer. It was confirmed the other potato items are, in fact, made in house fresh. Since I could not obtain an answer to my questions, I must assume they are not freshly made in house but, in fact, frozen. Needless to say, I did not order frozen sweet potato fries. We all ordered different items from the menu. Food was fabulous. We got there between 4:30-5:00 and we were immediately seated on the outer edge and as we were about to be served our dinner the crowds arrived. WOW! Place was packed within a quick few minutes. The down side is you must get there early or you could literally be one of the lucky ones stuck sitting in the path of everyone coming in/out or around the bar sitting on stools. They got so busy the staff did not have time to clear our table and bring the check. All we could do was patiently wait until it was convenient for them give us our bill and then wait for them to take our money for 50 minutes. Definitely popular and good food. Go early to enjoy reasonable expectation of timely and efficient service.
