Reviews of Samurai Of Monroe

I've eaten at their previous location. I ate there last weekend the service is terrible. The food was okay, but not worth the wait. It seems as if they have down sized the portions of their rolls too. Not to mention I was strong armed for gratuity tip of 18%, which I wouldn't have upset me so much had the service been better, seeing they didn't have many customers there.

The food is fabulous but the service is HORRIBLE!!!! There is always a crazy wait time, even when they do not appear to be busy. Various orders at the table come far apart from each other- one may come 30 minutes after someone else order at the table. Take out orders often take 2 hours- even though you try to order early in the evening. While the food is great, often it isn't worth the hassle of waiting. We rarely order from there anymore due to this. Try Ronin by Pecanland mall, or Kyoto is sushi is what you are looking for.

Being from Denver it is very difficult to find good authentic sushi, and my husband and I found it at the Samurai, thanks for satisfying our cravings.
