eh...it's ok. It's the only one around. For what you get and what they charge it gets 3 stars from me. I order about 1/month take out. Fried rice is lame, I add scrambled egg and bits of bacon and peas to it when I get home.

My favorite food in the world is Chinese food and the China Gate has great food! I prefer the china gate over the china buffet or garden in Missoula any day!

It's a very popular restaurant. It could be better. It used to be closed on Mondays and I think the food was better then than now, being open seven days.
The lunch buffet is good.
It's the only Chinese place in town. Compared with other restaurant fare, it's healthy food and the quality is good.

I recommend not going to this Chinese restaurant, even if you are craving some Chinese food. Buy some frozen Chinese food and save yourself the pain of eating China Gate's food. It couldn't be worse. We ordered Chow Mein and received a soggy and soupy cabbage dish with no noodles. When I called the restaurant to request our money back, the woman yelled at us and said it was my fault. The Fried Rice has no vegetables in it, and actually tastes like bad brown rice.
