A really happy stop on your way to wherever in Montana.

Good food, cold brews in really BIG glasses (2 of those and you want to spread your sleeping bag out on the porch and take a nap with the dogs), cool in the summer, warm in winter, cowboys, hunter, fishermen, tourists, photographers, snow seekers, maybe a movie star once in a while - a really nice atmosphere. The owners are newly married and you can see their wedding photos on the computer set up on the bar.

If you don't see a moose, there's a mounted head you can photograph and say you saw one.

I make it a point to stop by on every trip.
