Rick's used to be a great place to eat. We went there today and I ordered the 10 oz. Ribye $23.95. With "dirt" seasoning. What happened? What I got was a poor quality bland steak full of gristle and fat. Cheap thin steak... I maybe got to eat 5 bites of it. Horrible, and terrible quality. My daughter got the prime rib and it was so bad she couldn't eat it, as it tasted old and bland. My husband got the catfish and shrimp and it was good.

I had the chance to eat at Rick's crossroads , not only was the food excellent the lady that served us was very pleasant her name was Kylie I think .I have more business in talladega next month and I'll make it a point to eat there again.

My wife and I had an early dinner at Rick's this evening. I had the surf and turf (prime rib and fried shrimp) and my wife had the rib eye steak. Both were absolutely wonderful! Our service could not have been better. If you go on Thursday, Friday or Saturday when the prime rib is served, arrive early because the secret is out. This hidden gem fills up early and by 6pm, the line is out the door. Highly recommended!
