Went to Conners about 4:00 PM for dinner. Restaurant was not busy. Maybe 6 or 7 tables. Took awhile to be seated and receive a menu. Ordered the short ribs that were on the board. The waitress came back and said their was a mistake and that was not on the menu. Asked the specials and the soup but the waitress kept going to the kitchen and asking and she was very ill prepared. Finally ordered the roast beef. He ordered the personal pizza. For the amount of people in the restaurant it took a long time to receive our food. When I received my roast beef and gravy it was cold. I kept trying to get the waitress attention or any waitress. When a waitress finally came over and I explained the problem she just shrugged. By that time it was over an hour. Finally told her to just pack it and I will take it with me. .The service and the attitude was very poor, No apology or concerns for the customers. Paid the bill by my Visa. When I received my statement I found they overcharged me from my receipts,
I called the restaurant immediately and they said the manager would call me back. He never did. I called the next day and asked for the manager and he said he could help me. I asked if he was the manager and he said "I am the closest thing to a manager as you are going to get" He had a poor attitude and nasty tone right from the start, I explained the problem and asked when can I expect the credit, He said that it could take 2 or 3 months. I told him that was crazy. I told him that i would dispute the charge, He said go ahead. Then he got really nasty. No apology for the mistake Connors made. Then he hung up on me. The service in this place leaves a lot to be desired. The help needs a attitude adjustment when dealing with the public.. Watch what they charge you and pay in Cash. That is not the first overcharge.
that has happened. Just beware of charges, attitude and service. My Bank will give me credit in 7-10 and not 2-3 months.
Roast Beef is very good. Attitude and service is not. Just be warned.
Check your bill and your credit charges,

Connor's should make note in their menu that pizza not available until after 5pm on weekdays. We visited at 4pm on Thurs 6-10-21 looking forward to enjoying their advertised (in Gusto/Buffalo News) Detroit-style pizza, but were informed that the pizza oven wouldn't be turned on until 5pm. Our pizza hope was dashed, and my plan B corned beef sandwich was tasty, but my wife's hunger went unfulfilled so no very good rating

Have gone there for years. Great fish fry and other dishes. Went today 10/2/2020 and they did not have the heat on for it's customer's. When I asked to have them turn on the heat, they said NO. So if you want to "be cold and freeze" eating your meal then go to Connor's. I will never go there again. Not worth it. And their prices have also gone up considerably.
