Ordered Jerk Chicken with rice /vegetable mixture with a side of mac & cheese to split and to go. Chicken breast very, very thin, over cooked like leather, extremely salty and tasted as though the oil hadn't been changed in awhile.. the only taste the 'chicken' had was that of hot crushed peppers and salt!! Rice/vegetable mix was over salted with the vegetable having a rancid taste.. it was not edible.. nor was the chicken... This was NOT Jerk Chicken as it should be. Mac and cheese was pre-cooked pasta tossed into a frying pan heated for a bit then the 'cook' tossed grated cheddar on top until it melted.. we were given a sampling of the mac and cheese while waiting for our order to be completed, and to be polite, we did say it was good.. but in fact it was so basic that a 10 year old could have made it. The bill came to $18.00 and some change and we left the change from a $20.00. A couple of years ago some friends said the food was great.. maybe it was good then or maybe the 'full of himself cook' wasn't working there then.. Bottom line is that we'll never go there again and we will put the word out to those we know.. STAY AWAY from FREDDY J's!!
