Top Reviews of China Express 2

I highly recommend China Express 2 for their generous portions of delicious Chinese food at a great value. While there is no indoor seating, the friendly service and efficient pickup make it a convenient choice for a satisfying meal. Despite a small mix-up with my order, the staff went above and beyond by apologizing and adding an extra dish for free, leaving me very pleased with the overall experience.

The meal was burnt and dried out. They told me it would be 45 minutes and it was here in 15 minutes. Disgusting food.. even tge pork fried rice was dried and burnt.

I highly suggest any Tofu plate, the Chow Mein, and Chow Fun. This is my only and top Chinese food place in Burlington. I don't even think I'd want to try any others. I don't know what the other reviews say but I literally googled this to see if they were open and was appalled that they had any bad reviews! These folks are amazing and if you order online you get a discount over time. Very tasty stuff.

Terrible Food. Terrible Delivery. Abusive staff. Unprofessional in every way. Are there supposed to be vegetables in vegetable lo-mein.?! Go to Shelburne rd. China Express 1 for good food. Avoid China Express at 30 North st. at all costs.

The food took an hour and 45 mins to arrive. They won't answer the phone so I drove down to pick it up and was told it was already delivered. they didn't apologize for the inconvenience.

While I was driving home the driver delivered to my wife and was rude and disrespectful. He told my wife to never order from there again. The food was cold and dried out.

I had ordered on line before and after an hour of waiting found out that they hadn't checked the computer, I should have learned my lesson then, besides Mings and Yummies have better food.

The China Express on Shelburne Rd very good. It looks like a terrible place from the outside, but I have eaten lunch there several times and it has always been great. My favorite is the garlic shrimp.

Don't let the appearance fool you, it's bad looking outside, but good food inside.

Seriously it was the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had in my life and I'm not a picky eater. I was so disappointed. My boyfriend and I threw the food out because it was so gross. Not to mention the prices on the menu are not true. So if you are hungry and on a limited income, DON"T order from China Express on North St. Burlington.

CHINA EXPRESS RULES!!!! Great service. Great Chinese food. Delivery = always on time! I don't know what everyone else here is complaining about... when ordering from a Chinese restaurant, one usually doesn't expect the creme de la creme. This place meets and exceeds the standards for a CHINESE FOOD RESTAURANT.

Definitely not the best Chinese food in town but it is close by and they actually deliver, even late at night. The tofu is really good but I think they need to improve their customer service a bit. I called and was put on hold and they forgot about me. I could hear them talking and laughing. I had to call back. One time they messed up my order and couldn't come back to fix it cause it was so late. They did however give me a credit towards my next meal so that was good. Overall, they have a great menu and food is pretty good, but could be a better, same with the service. One thing they do do though is give lots of condiments and package food well so it doesn't leak. Delivery is a bit expensive.

I have been getting food at this place for a couple months with only a few complaints about wait time. Not such a big deal for mediocre chinese food. Today they have lost a customer. I called several times before noon and no one answered the phone. When I called the other "China Express" down the road and asked them if they had any idea why no one was answering, they had no clue. I was pissed. If you are supposed to be open for business at 11am, be open otherwise your customers will help you make that decision as I have today. Too bad for them, I spend at least $50 a month there.

I have been calling China Express on North Street for the past hour and a half and they have not picked up, despite the fact that their hours say they opened 3 hours ago. I called their delivery number as well, and it just rings and rings until it eventually sounds like a fax machine. I am absolutely infuriated at their lack of service.

This is as good as any Chinese take-out in Burlington. Service makes them stand out though. I rarely wait more than twenty minutes for my food. Always hot.
Their General Tso tofu is the best around.

After waiting for and hour and a half for my food to be delivered, I called them back only to be told it was on the way. After another hour I called again and was told again it was on the way. I asked if there was silver ware included in the bag and I was told it was. When the delivery person finally arrived not only was there no silver ware but the food was cold... and the chicken was undercooked. I called them back and told them about them not to bother to send the driver back with silverware because the food was cold and uneatable. I informed them I would never order from them again and the lady on the phone said "have a nice evening" and then she hung up. If you want good food try any Chinese place except this one because the service sucks, the food is horrendous and the deliveries are not timely. The only thing you will get out of this establishment is bad service.

I ordered takeout Teriyaki chicken. It tasted just like Chinese food. Unfortunately, Teriyaki is supposed to be Japanese. I have a feeling that all of the food tastes similar, and I will not be going back. EVER.
