I had read reviews on Big Fatty's before going to Burlington. We found it and decided to try it. We ordered the pulled pork, pulled chicken, bbq chicken and ribs. It was FABULOUS!!!! I ordered 1/2 slab of ribs, big mistake unless you are super hungry. I only got through one rib, the rest were another couple of meals. We all tried all the dishes including the coleslaw (terrific)it was some of the best bbq we have eaten. The sauce was sweet and sour both. The staff was very courteous, the restaurant itself was clean and very rustic. If you are in Burlington, it is a place to go, I know we will definitely go back!!!!

Best BBQ in town! Generous portions and coleslaw usually comes with your order. Favorites are the pulled pork and the hush puppies (they are not vegetarian but vegetarians have lots of other options elsewhere in town). Have yet to try the ribs and chicken because the pulled pork is seriously delicious.

This retaurant is fabulous - especially for those who are looking for something out of the ordinary for the a northern town. The owner, Clay, is a southerner by birth and has brought his love of the south into a sauce that takes home the prize. We stubled upon this whole in the wall just off of Main Street in Burlington. Being from the south we thought there was no way this would be any good - I am happy to report I have never been more wrong. The sauce is Outstanding - a layered extravaganza that keeps you guessing and is available for take home as well. HIghly recommended - a must have if you are in the area (I believe they also have another restaurant as well - and they cater! for you locals). He has a blog - http://bigfattysbbq.blogspot.com/ that I found with a quick search for the city of the other resaturant.
