I’ve never had a meal at Paul’s that wasn’t 👍👍. Always fresh and delicious! It’s conveniently located so I can either get a quick carryout (like tonight) or stop in for a bite!

review_stars 06/12/2018 - Shocked at 5-Star Reviews
I eat here for convenience but I'm surprised at reviews. While the food may taste good, the gravy I was served was pasty, under-flavored and over-salted. Very much like Big Boys'. While they might defend it's use, I can't believe it was made in the kitchen.

As far as price, many of Paul's prices are in line with other restaurants within blocks -- some are ACTUAL 5-star restaurants with Chefs. The burger joint with ambience/ history is less expensive and, in my opinion, produces better burgers.

I find the service satisfactory.

I'm guessing that the people giving this place 5-stars haven't checked out downtown Rochester's finer establishments and have set a lower bar for Paul's.

I'm no chef but if the food isn't better than I can make it at home, it's not 4 or 5-star.

Food wasn't that good and was cold.
Then, for the 1st time in my life, we were asked to leave because there was a line at the door!
It's a coffee shop style restaurant and we were talking after eating, and had been there a little over an hour after waiting to be seated.

This one of Michigan's best breakfast restaurants! I love their food and hospitality. Matter of fact, I'm getting ready to go there now!

This is my favorite restaurant. It is by far one of the best places I have ever eaten. The guy who gave it one star must have been eating at a different restaurant.

I gave this place 2 chances.. the first times was so-so. I wasn't crazy bout it, nor was I disappointed. Just recently though I went there for breakfast. After waiting 20 minutes before any food shows up we ask who I would guess is the owner/manager where our orders our. We didn't see the waitress for almost that entire time. There where only 6 tables in the whole place being vacated, while she was waiting 3 of them. we ordered simple egg and sausage dishes. she finally shows up 5 minutes later with the food, sets it down and walks off. 25 minutes we waited for the food. Its cold, eggs are cold, sausage is cold, hash-browns cold, toast is hard as rock and crumbly. After letting the waitress know that all our stuff was cold she tells us "no it is not cold" and "well we can warm the eggs back up ". My spouse then proceeds to tell her we don't go out to breakfast for microwaved eggs and it took so long for the food to come out that we think that it just sat around for a good 10-15 minutes cause she my have forgot about it and she just simple replies "well they are not cold, they not cold". No apology, and no new warm food. Shame on us for thinking the eggs are cold. I won't go back.

Paul's on Main Street-other restaurants should take note of this competition. You always get a very good meal for a good price. The wait staff, along with the owner work as a team and it shows. Very clean restaurant.

This is our favorite family restaurant! The food is always great, fresh and served with a smile. Family friendly atmosphere and No Smoking make it great everytime.

Paul's food is always fresh and made to order. This is NOT your favorite Sysco canned meal. The meals are wonderful and the price is very reasonable.

We are a family of four and have become big fans of Pauls. All meals at Pauls are good. The food is fresh and it is very family friendly. The staff are very gracious and make you feel at home. It is a great value for a family meal.

Paul's has a great family-friendly atmosphere. The service is consistently fantastic and the breakfast is very good. We have only ever eaten breakfast there but they do serve lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.
