Excellent food and good service

Went through on my way out to the Fish the Gulf before the oil gets here.
This place was excellent. Greeted by a friendly staff, Waitress let us know about the specials, we ordered and food came promptly. I had the pork chops and my brother got the Baby Back Rib and Fried Shrimp Special. Mine was fantastic, and my brother says the ribs are better than any place in Gainesville and the Shrimp was as good as O'steens in St. Augustine.
Look forward to going back soon.

Backyard BBQ,
Great food, nice waitresses, clean restaurant, full bar, big screens, karaoke.
Really cool place to go, eat great and have fun.
Way better than any chain you could pick.

Really good.
Great wait staff, super food and clean restaurant. The ribs were fantastic, my wife loved the chicken and the onion rings were by far the best I have ever had. My kids loved it because they got their meal served on a frisbee.Brilliant!!
We will be back often.

Who are these people kidding? Where the food is OK. It used to be much better in my book; if I remember correctly.
On this visit, The waitstaff was really sad. We had a party of six, it was a birthday and our waitress was the worst waitress we have ever had, She even cussed around my child and rubbed herself on my husband, three times and winked while doing it once in FRONT of me! Most of the girls there had bad mouths. If this is what they think a family environment is? I would love to see where these people come from. I would be embarrassed. I am embarrassed for Newberry. The only friendly girl in the place was a girl named Amanda she seemed sweet and welcoming. Our waitress Jenn or Jennifer was terrible but the others around us I did not find to be doing that much better of a job.
I hate that there is no respect anymore and the trashier the waitstaff the better with these owners. I will never be back!!!

My boyfriend and I went out to Newberry with his parents last Saturday and had a great experience. The place was really crowded. People were talking and having a great time. We were seated within a few minutes. Our server came right away, she introduced herself and got our drinks immediately. Our food came quickly and it was delicious. I had the chicken. It was perfect. My boyfriend had pork chops and they were excellent. We all had a great time. Especially when karaoke started. We watched the festivities and really enjoyed ourselves. We will be back soon.
